Teacher training, Unit 1

Music Mind Games is an innovative and interactive approach to music education developed by Michiko Yurko. The program aims to teach music theory and musicianship skills in a playful and engaging way, particularly for young children. Michiko Yurko, a music educator and violinist, created Music Mind Games to make learning music theory more accessible and enjoyable.

The program incorporates games, activities, and visual aids to help students grasp fundamental music concepts such as note reading, rhythm, ear training, and understanding the structure of music. The approach is designed to be fun and interactive, promoting a deeper understanding of music theory through experiential learning.

Music Mind Games has gained popularity in music education circles, and many teachers find it to be a valuable resource for introducing and reinforcing essential musical concepts in a way that captures the interest and enthusiasm of students. The program is not limited to any specific instrument and can be adapted for use with various age groups.
